Noelle Vance received her M.A. in English from Colorado State University and her B.A. in English from the University of Michigan. She has been a technical editor and specialist in working with international writers for 11 years. She worked for eight years at the Colorado School of Mines where she assisted international writers from a wide range of engineering and scientific disciplines to hone their writing skills. From Mines, she went on to freelance technical editing, working with professionals in both academia and private practice to produce academic articles, grant proposals and a wide range of technical reports. Her goal in founding Pennatek Communications is to provide a go-to editorial resource for professionals who speak English as a second language. “The right editor makes good writing great!” she says. “And all international professionals should have great writing.”
